What made you want to join the ASTRO Foundation Board of Directors?
What made you want to join the ASTRO Foundation Board of Directors
I have a passion and a heart for animal welfare; especially homeless animals. I want to advocate and work to end inhumane and abusive situations for these poor souls that have no choices.

When I relocated back to the area in 2019, I was looking for a place to volunteer and stumbled upon ASTRO through my job ~ when ASTRO purchased the Adoption Center (I underwrote the commercial loan). I was so impressed with ASTRO; the leadership and professionalism behind the organization and knew that I needed to be involved!
Where do you live?
I live in Modesto.
Tell us a little about your day, what do you do, what have you done?
In addition to being a dog mom to my rescue Sheltie, Bella, I am a commercial loan officer for Oak Valley Community Bank
Are you currently participating in any other organizations or associations?
I am not; I’m all in for ASTRO!

Any past affiliations you would like to share?
Board of Directors, Modesto Symphony
Leadership Board, Santa Clara University College of Arts and Sciences
Finance Committee, Los Gatos Music and Arts
Board of Directors, Carmel Bach Festival
Volunteer, Boys and Girls Club of Monterey County
Parent Board, Treasurer, Stevenson School in Pebble Beach
We would love to hear about your family, starting with your pets…
As I mentioned above, I am a dog mom to my girl, Bella. She is 3 years old and is the light of my life! I have a grown son, Joseph, and soon to be daughter-in-law, Sara – they live in SF and I am always available to puppy-sit my grand-dog, Luna – the most amazing Aussie!
Finally, what excites you about being part of the ASTRO board of directors?
I am excited to be a part of ASTRO’s future! I am hopeful to help and contribute to make a difference in the lives of helpless and homeless animals through volunteering, fundraising and being available to foster and rescue when needed.
